The blog of conductor Jason Weinberger

Now here’s an interesting entry into the realm of streaming concert video – live performances in HD [viewed either through a web browser or on a mobile device] with paid ticketing, capped attendance and on-demand archives. The model is a bit different than those of other efforts I’ve linked to previously such as the more informal From The Basement series, classically-oriented medici.tv or the now-defunct Fabchannel. I’m curious to see how it works out.

If an interesting orchestral concert were offered through a service like Liveset would you pay to watch it live or on-demand?
