Orchestras around the world [including one of the groups with which I work] are struggling to survive the current financial crunch. Props to the musicians of the Dutch Radio Orchestra for this creative and positive response to the serious cuts threatening their ensemble: a ‘flashmambo’ in The Hague’s central train station.
