
A portion of the second movement theme from Howard Hanson’s Fourth Symphony, penned here by the composer himself as a memento. I’ll be performing this work – a moving, wordless Requiem which won the Pulitzer Prize for music in 1943 – on a 9/11 remembrance concert tonight.
